About this role:

The Care Coordinator is the heartbeat of Unity Way's day-to-day. You'll own the rota, juggle short-notice changes calmly, handle enquiries from prospective families, and make the careful matching decisions that keep care consistent for every household.

What you'll do:

  • Build and maintain the weekly visit rota
  • Handle short-notice cover calmly and promptly
  • Triage incoming enquiries and book free home visits
  • Match carers to clients based on skills and personality
  • Liaise with families about visit changes
  • Visit a small, regular caseload of clients to support with personal care, companionship and the routines that matter most to them
  • Cover Saturday and Sunday rounds with our weekend team. Ideal for students, parents or anyone wanting a steady weekend role
  • Provide round-time companionship and support in a single client's home for one- or two-week placements at a time

What we're looking for:

  • Calm under pressure and brilliant on the phone
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with rota or scheduling software
  • Care sector experience helpful but not required
