About this role: Bank carers give us the flexibility to keep care consistent for every family: covering holidays, sickness and short-notice respite. You pick the shifts that work for you, with no minimum commitment.

What you'll do:

  • Pick up shifts that match your availability
  • Deliver care visits to existing Unity Way clients
  • Read and follow detailed handover notes
  • Communicate any concerns to the on-call lead

What we're looking for:

  • Previous care experience required
  • Reliable transport and a UK driving licence
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Available to respond to shift requests promptly

Visit a small, regular caseload of clients to support with personal care, companionship and the routines that matter most to them. Cover Saturday and Sunday rounds with our weekend team. Ideal for students, parents or anyone wanting a steady weekend role. Provide round-the-clock companionship and support in a single client's home for one- or two-week placements at a time.
