The Opportunity
Unity's advertising platform reaches billions of consumers each month across mobile apps, games, and connected TV. We're growing our UK Agency and Brand Partnerships team and looking for a driven, commercially sharp Sales Executive to own a named patch of agency and brand accounts across the UK market. This is a quota-carrying, individual contributor role. You'll work a defined set of agency holding company offices, independent agencies, and brand direct accounts — building relationships, running a structured sales process, and closing programmatic and managed service deals. You won't be managing people; you'll be focused on becoming the go-to Unity rep in the UK market.
The right person has ad tech or programmatic sales experience, already has working relationships across UK agencies or brands, and has sold brand advertising into or alongside the mobile gaming ecosystem — whether that's in-app, gaming audiences, or mobile-first programmatic. You're motivated by owning a number and growing it. You'll be the sole Unity seller in market, which means a lot of autonomy — and a real opportunity to shape how Unity shows up in the UK.
What You'll Do
- Own a named portfolio of agency holding company offices, independent agencies, and brand direct accounts across the UK; carry a quarterly and annual revenue quota and consistently work to achieve it.
- Run a structured sales process from first contact to close: prospecting and qualification, needs discovery, proposal and media plan development, deal negotiation, and revenue expansion within existing accounts.
- Build working relationships across your patch — with media planners, programmatic traders, investment leads, and digital strategists — so Unity is included in planning conversations.
- Present and position Unity's advertising solutions clearly and consultatively: managed service campaigns, PMPs, Programmatic Guaranteed deals, and Audience Hub data activations, matched to client KPIs and buying infrastructure.
- Respond to agency RFPs with well-crafted, insight-led proposals; lead pitches and client meetings with confidence.
- Keep account plans current: document key contacts, map spend pools, track open opportunities, and flag expansion potential.
- Represent Unity at industry events and use market presence to grow your network and pipeline.
- Collaborate with internal teams — account management, solutions, and marketing — to deliver for clients and feed insights back into the business.
What We're Looking For
Required
- Experience in programmatic, mobile, or digital advertising sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Existing relationships with UK agency planners, traders, or brand teams.
- Solid working knowledge of how programmatic deals are bought and structured: DSPs, SSPs, PMPs, open auction, and managed service.
- Experience running a full sales cycle independently, from prospecting through close.
- Direct, hands-on experience selling in-app, mobile gaming, and programmatic advertising.
- Strong communication skills — clear in writing, confident in meetings, credible in a pitch.
- Organised and self-directed; able to manage a pipeline and prioritise without close supervision.
- Based in or willing to relocate to London; comfortable being in-market with clients regularly.
Nice to Have
- CTV advertising experience.
- Familiarity with brand-performance convergence, retail media, or commerce media buying.
- Experience at a mobile SSP, DSP, or ad network.
