We are looking for an Impact & Sustainability Management Analyst (ISMA) to join our growing Impact & Sustainability team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to combine analytical rigour, purpose‑led work, and cross‑bank collaboration to help shape the future of impact banking.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Impact & Sustainability Reporting
- Produce high‑quality impact and sustainability reporting with the Head of Impact & Sustainability.
- Support internal and external reporting, including committee papers, shareholder updates, and the annual impact report.
- Improve impact data processes to enhance usability and insight across the Bank.
- Deliver climate‑risk and impact‑risk reporting aligned to Unity’s risk framework.
- Help evolve Unity’s impact frameworks in line with market standards.
- Explore ethical uses of AI and automation to improve impact reporting and customer experience.
- Impact Assessments & Framework Development
- Assess the impact of potential lending in collaboration with Relationship Managers.
- Review impact assessments for all lending and support assessments for larger loans.
- Contribute to impact assessment activities within the treasury portfolio.
- Promote Unity’s impact management approach and build capability across teams.
- Support cross‑bank initiatives such as Unity & Me, including grant‑making and volunteer activities.
- Carbon Footprint & Climate‑Risk
- Use PCAF methodologies, GHG Protocol tools, and Unity data to deliver carbon footprint reporting.
- Support the development of Unity’s climate‑risk management and net zero strategy.
- Impact Assurance & Development
- Provide submissions to membership and standards bodies and supply impact data for marketing.
- Work with customer and credit teams to inform sector appetite for lending.
- Learning & Engagement
- Engage across the Bank to understand how Unity delivers positive impact.
- Participate in shadowing and learning opportunities across teams.
- Contribute to Unity & Me to support workplace culture and community impact.
Working closely with the Impact & Sustainability team and stakeholders across the Bank, you will contribute to high‑quality data management, reporting, and continuous improvement of Unity’s impact frameworks.
