We’re looking for a motivated and detail‑driven Finance Analyst to join our Financial Control team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part‑qualified accountant who wants to deepen their technical accounting knowledge and gain hands‑on experience within a regulated banking environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain daily position‑keeping of cash balances
- Support the Treasury team with the purchase and settlement of financial instruments
- Process invoices, expenses and payment requests, ensuring timely and accurate supplier payments
- Prepare and distribute monthly cost reports from the Concur expenses system
- Maintain accurate financial data within the Sun general ledger
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
- Take a key role in the month‑end close, including preparing and posting journals
- Assist in the production of monthly management accounts
- Undertake ad‑hoc research and small projects, providing financial insight and analysis
What You’ll Bring

- Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting

- Studying towards ACA/ACCA (part‑qualified)
