We’re looking for a proactive, detail‑driven SharePoint Administrator to take ownership of our SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration services. If you thrive on solving problems, improving services, and keeping a complex environment secure and well‑governed, you’ll feel right at home here.
Key Responsibilities- Run and optimise our SharePoint Online environment — from site provisioning to lifecycle management.
- Shape information architecture: hub sites, navigation, metadata, content types, retention, and search.
- Manage permissions and access controls across SharePoint, M365 groups, and Azure AD.
- Enforce governance standards and ensure compliance with banking and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert 2nd/3rd line support, resolving issues around permissions, sync, search, and integrations.
- Lead root cause analysis, maintain documentation, and strengthen operational processes.
- Partner with Security, Risk, and Compliance teams on audits, evidence, and secure configuration.
- Drive service improvements, automation, and controlled rollouts of new features.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business teams on SharePoint best practice and site design.
- Strong hands‑on experience administering SharePoint Online in a medium‑to‑large organisation.
- Solid understanding of M365 access models, governance, and information architecture.
- Confident troubleshooting skills and a structured approach to incident/problem/change management.
- Experience working in regulated environments (banking/insurance/public sector ideal).
- Clear communication skills and the ability to guide non‑technical users.
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement, automation, and reducing operational risk.
- MS‑102, SC‑900, SC‑300, SC‑400, PL‑900, AZ‑900, ITIL 4 Foundation — or equivalent real‑world experience.
- Someone who is analytical, organised, collaborative, and comfortable owning a critical service that the entire Bank relies on.
