We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to help shape the future of the platform. This is a senior individual contributor role with outsized scope: you'll drive strategic bets that span the mediation stack, from auction dynamics and bidding infrastructure to publisher-facing tooling and cross-platform integrations, and influence how Unity's mediation ecosystem evolves over the next several years. You'll operate as a thought partner to product and engineering leadership, and your decisions will directly impact revenue for developers around the world and for Unity itself.
What you'll be doingHelp shape the product vision and future strategy for the LevelPlay mediation platform, and own the roadmap for core areas from definition and planning through launch and iterationDrive high-stakes platform decisions on auction mechanics, bidding vs. waterfall dynamics, network integrations, and revenue optimization, grounded in data and marketplace understandingPartner deeply with engineering, data science, design, and monetization teams to ship at scale, with strict latency and reliability demandsEngage directly with top publishers and ad network partners to understand needs, validate direction, and represent the voice of the developer in strategic decisionsAlign stakeholders across Unity's Grow and Create divisions to deliver a unified experienceMentor and up-level PMs across the LevelPlay team, raising the bar for strategic product decision-makingWhat we're looking forExtensive product management experience, with a track record of operating at principal level or equivalent: shaping strategy, not just executing itDeep domain expertise in ad tech: mediation, in-app bidding, programmatic auctions, ad networks, or adjacent marketplace/monetization systemsDemonstrated success owning platform products end to end, from definition through launch, iteration, and scaleStrong analytical rigor, including comfort with experimentation, marketplace metrics (ARPDAU, eCPM, fill rate), and making revenue-impacting decisions under uncertaintyExperience partnering with ML and data science teams to bring models, signals, or optimization features into productionExceptional stakeholder leadership: able to align executives, engineers, and external partners, and guide teams through ambiguity to impactful outcomesA track record of driving decisions independently and with conviction, grounded in your own analysisExperience in mobile gaming or with mobile developer ecosystemsYou might also haveHands-on experience with ad mediation platformsBackground in auction theory, machine learning-driven optimization, or real-time bidding systemsExperience with SDK-based products and an understanding of the mobile ad lifecycle, including privacy frameworks (e.g. ATT, Privacy Sandbox), latency optimization, and network adapter strategyBase Salary Range: We determine the base salary range for this role based on your primary work location: Zone A: $175,200 - $262,800 USD grossZone B: $198,000 - $297,000 USD grossZone C: $222,500 - $333,700 USD grossThis range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate's relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
