Our client is solving one of the most complex and impactful problems in healthcare. Supporting over 500 primary care practices and serving millions of patients across the UK, they automate routine care delivery including measurements, vaccinations, blood tests, and reviews. They reduce operational burden and improve outcomes for both staff and patients. They are at an inflection point. Product Design is going to be foundational to their next chapter, and they are looking for someone to set a new standard, creating clarity from complexity and raising the bar for the product and the industry.

The Role

  • You will own the quality and direction of design within your product area, working closely with a Product Manager and Engineering Lead.
  • You will be shaping how millions of people experience healthcare.
  • Lead design, shaping problems and creating clarity from complexity.
  • Stay close to reality by observing clinicians and working with onboarding and support teams.
  • Push beyond obvious solutions while respecting real world constraints.
  • Raise the quality and coherence of the product through strong craft and polish.
  • Help establish the systems and ways of working that allow design quality to scale.

As the design function grows, there is clear scope to shape systems, practices, hiring, and broader design leadership.

Who You Are

  • It’s essential that you have led design within a cross functional product squad and owned outcomes, not just outputs.
  • Can explore widely and articulate trade offs clearly and decisively.
  • Have helped improve design quality, systems, or ways of working beyond your immediate area.
  • Make good decisions with incomplete information and evolving constraints.
  • Are energised by helping a growing company mature its design practice.
  • Experience in healthcare or B2B SaaS is a bonus.
