Join Our Team as a Teaching and Learning Support Assistant at Churchill Special School.

Churchill Special School, part of the Unity Schools Partnership, is seeking 5 Teaching and Learning Support Assistants to join our supportive community. The role will begin September 2026 in our GCSE pathway classes and our 2 Cognition and Learning classes. Applicants must specify their desired pathway.

Why Churchill Special School?

We provide a nurturing and inclusive environment for pupils with special educational needs. From September we will cater for 94 pupils aged 8–18.

Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in delivering lesson plans and classroom instruction.
  • Assist pupils with special educational needs in both GCSE pathway and Cognition and Learning classes.
  • Provide one‑to‑one and group support as needed.
  • Contribute to inclusive education and continuous professional development.
