Wickhambrook Primary Academy is a One form entry Primary School in the heart of rural Suffolk with close links to schools and activities in Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket and Haverhill. We are a vibrant community who are involved in many local community activities.

We are looking for an inspiring SENCO to lead our inclusive practice and ensure that all students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), achieve. In this pivotal leadership role, you will shape our school's inclusion ethos, oversee the day-to-day operation of our SEND policy, and design bespoke support plans.

You will work closely with our dedicated teaching staff, parents, and external agencies (e.g., educational psychologists, speech therapists) to guarantee a holistic approach to pupil support. Whether you are guiding teachers through adaptive teaching strategies or managing statutory requirements like EHCPs, your work will directly transform the lives of our most vulnerable learners.

Working closely with colleagues across the school, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality teaching and learning is delivered, supporting a positive classroom culture and ensuring strong outcomes for all pupils.
