Location: Unity Schools Partnership Trust Office, Haverhill, Suffolk (Working with our schools across East Anglia and north-east London)
Job start: As soon as possible
Salary: £39,862 to £42,620 per annum
Contract: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, permanent (hybrid with regular attendance at Trust offices and travel to schools as required)
Annual leave: 24 days holiday rising to 29 days holiday after 5 years’ service plus bank holidays

We’re looking for a brilliant Communications Officer with exceptional writing and editorial skills, sharp judgement and a great sense of tone — someone who can bring clarity, warmth and impact to internal and external communications across a family of schools. You’ll play a key role in making sure our messaging is accurate, timely, inclusive and aligned with Trust priorities and values.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a communications/marketing/media/PR role, with strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Confidence using digital channels (web and social) and managing multiple deadlines.
- Professional judgement, discretion and a real commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding.
