Thomas Gainsborough School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Sixth Form Administrative Assistant to join our support staff team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and helping to promote and develop a thriving Sixth Form community. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration of the Sixth Form, whilst also contributing to the wider work of the school’s administrative team.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting communication with students, families and staff
  • Using and maintaining student information systems, including Arbor
  • Collecting, analysing and presenting data for school leaders
  • Supporting the promotion and advertising of Sixth Form events
  • Assisting with internal and external marketing of the Sixth Form
  • Supporting admissions processes and transition into Sixth Form
  • Providing wider administrative support across the school as required
