Unity Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing automotive dealership based in Harrogate. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an ambitious Sales Executive to join their high-performing team. Previous car sales experience would be highly desirable; however, we are equally open to candidates who have a proven track record in sales and are looking to transition into the automotive industry. Full training and ongoing support will be provided for the right individual.
The Role
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the vehicle purchasing process, from initial enquiry through to sale completion. You'll build strong relationships, understand customer requirements and deliver an exceptional buying experience while maximising sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the vehicle sales process from initial customer enquiry through to sale completion.
- Handling customer enquiries via telephone, email and online platforms.
- Welcoming customers to the showroom and assisting with vehicle viewings.
- Conducting test drives and presenting vehicle features and benefits.
- Discussing finance solutions, including HP and PCP options.
- Promoting additional products and services such as extended warranties and paint protection packages.
- Preparing and processing all sales documentation accurately.
- Maintaining accurate customer records and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the customer journey.
About You
- A proven track record of success in a sales environment.
- Previous automotive sales experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude with a genuine desire to learn, develop and build a long-term career.
- A full UK driving licence.
Working Hours
5 day working week. Weekend working is required.
Monday to Saturday: 8:30am - 6:00pm
Sunday: 10:30am - 5:00pm
