Our client is looking for a practical, organised and customer-focused individual to join their team as an On-site Maintenance & Project Coordinator.
This is a varied, predominantly site-based role combining project support, customer liaison and hands-on maintenance activities. Working closely with customers, suppliers and contractors, you'll help ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.
This is not an office-based project coordination role. The majority of your time will be spent on-site supporting projects, coordinating activities and assisting with practical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a key point of contact for customers throughout their project
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and deliveries
- Visiting sites to monitor progress and help keep projects on schedule
- Keeping customers updated throughout the project lifecycle
- Assisting with maintenance, commissioning and handover activities
- Supporting contractors and helping resolve on-site issues
- Learning and developing an understanding of specialist equipment and systems
About You
- Practical or technical background
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working on-site and alongside tradespeople
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Willingness to learn new technical skills
- Full UK driving licence
Previous industry experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
Suitable candidates may come from a hands-on background such as building, plumbing, maintenance, landscaping, groundworks, installation or general construction. We're looking for someone practical, organised and confident working on-site with customers and contractors.
If you're looking for a role that gets you out on site and involved in project delivery rather than behind a desk, we'd love to hear from you. Apply by submitting your CV or contact Beth at Unity Resourcing for more information.
