Finance Manager β Part-Time
Hours: 3 days per week (flexible hours) Salary: Β£50k - Β£55k pro rata Benefits: 20 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension Scheme, Bupa cash plan, Private medical care (after a six month period), birthday off and team socials. Our exclusive client based locally in Harrogate are recruiting for a part time Finance Manager to join their well established company and team. The candidate will be organised, proactive and oversee the day-to-day finance operation. The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth and timely management of the practice's finances. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and issuing client invoices via Xero and other client portals. Monitoring and chasing outstanding payments. Processing and paying supplier and consultant invoices. Requesting and managing purchase orders as required. Preparing and monitoring practice budgets and expenditure. Providing regular financial forecasts and cash flow projections to support effective business planning. Monitoring practice expenditure and identifying potential variances against budgets. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Assisting with cash flow management and bi-weekly financial reporting to MD. Processing employee expenses in line with Expenses Policy. Liaising with clients, suppliers, consultants and the practice team regarding financial matters. Supporting the practice with general financial administration and ensuring appropriate financial procedures are followed. Working with the practice's accountant to provide information and support for VAT, payroll, year-end accounts and other statutory requirements. Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring financial information is handled appropriately. What our client requires:
ACCA or CIMA or equivalent experience Previous experience in a Finance Manager position Managing budgets, forecasting and strong experience of managing financial expenditure Excellent reporting and able to communicate effectively financial information regularly to the Director. Experience within a professional services environment would be advantageous.
