Location: Wetherby

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Working Hours: 4-day working week, Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

We are recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Manager to join a leading engineering firm specialising in innovative solutions for a diverse range of clients in the UK and overseas. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans, leading business growth, and managing day-to-day sales and marketing operations. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of the engineering or manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
  • Create marketing materials, manage campaigns, and oversee digital platforms.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Analyse sales and marketing data to measure effectiveness and adjust strategies.
  • Ensure the effective export of goods and compliance with record-keeping requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales and marketing in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
