Sales and Marketing Manager
Location: Wetherby
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Working Hours: 4-day working week, Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm

We are recruiting for a Sales and Marketing Manager to join a leading engineering firm specialising in innovative solutions for a diverse range of clients in the UK and overseas.
You ll be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing plans, leading business growth, and managing day-to-day sales and marketing operations. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of the engineering or manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
- Create marketing materials, manage campaigns, and oversee digital platforms.
- Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing deals.
- Analyse sales and marketing data to measure effectiveness and adjust strategies.
- Ensure the effective export of goods and compliance with record-keeping requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in sales and marketing in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office 365.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel as required.
