Production Operative Wetherby Starting salary – £25,000 Full-time, Permanent | Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm Benefits: Bonus scheme, 20 days holiday plus Christmas shutdown, company pension, free on-site parking. We are recruiting for a reliable and hands-on Production Operative to join a growing and friendly team based in Wetherby. This is a varied role involving both production and warehouse responsibilities, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a practical, fast-paced environment. You’ll be involved in preparing and packing products, supporting the manufacturing process, and helping ensure that goods are moved efficiently between departments. Key Responsibilities: Production Duties * Filling containers using manual and semi-automatic machinery * Labelling products by hand or with machinery * Batch coding and quality checking * Building and filling cartons * Measuring and blending ingredients * Labelling and sampling to required standards * Cleaning equipment and work areas * Conducting regular stock checks on packaging materials Warehouse Duties * Moving boxes (up to 25kg) between pallets and production areas * Stacking and wrapping pallets * Using a manual pallet truck to move stock * Driving a van between sites to transport goods * Operating the shutter door to accept deliveries and collections Experience: * Previous experience in a production operative role * Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes * Comfortable with manual handling and physical work * A basic understanding of workplace safety and good manufacturing practices is beneficial If you’re looking for a stable, full-time role where you can contribute to a supportive and growing team, we’d love to hear from you.
