Senior Territory Manager / Team Lead UK

Location: Greater London and South East

Candidates must be based within the Greater London or South East region, providing effective access to the territory and customer base, and enabling regular travel throughout the assigned area.

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + OTE

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. Due to the nature of this sales position, flexibility is required, with frequent travel across Central London and the South East including overnight stays where required.

The Role

The Senior Territory Manager / Team Lead UK is a commercial leadership role combining personal sales responsibility with day-to-day team leadership role responsible for achieving or exceeding personal sales, gross-margin and customer-service targets within an assigned territory while providing day-to-day commercial leadership, coaching and performance support to the UK field sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal sales, implant volume and gross margin targets within your assigned territory.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and support to the UK Sales Representatives.
  • Support the Managing Director in implementing the UK commercial strategy.
  • Drive profitable growth through the promotion of products and solutions.
  • Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted business partner.
  • Develop strategic accounts, dental groups and high-potential clinics.
  • Generate new business through proactive prospecting and account development.
  • Maintain sales forecasts, business plans and pipeline reviews.
  • Monitor revenue, margin and sales performance against agreed targets.
  • Utilise CRM’s to manage opportunities and maintain accurate records.
  • Work closely with Sales Support, Marketing and Education teams to deliver customer initiatives.
  • Use education events and clinical evidence to strengthen customer relationships and win new business.
  • Maintain up-to-date product, clinical and competitor knowledge.

Skills and Experience needed

  • 5+ years of successful B2B field-sales experience in dentistry or the implant industry.
  • A consistent record of achieving personal sales targets while protecting price, margin and customer value.
  • Demonstrable coaching, mentoring or team-leadership experience; formal line-management experience is an advantage.
  • Strong commercial and numerical capability, including territory planning, pipeline management, forecasting, margin analysis and KPI interpretation.
  • Ability to build strategic relationships with clinicians, dental groups, key opinion leaders and other commercial stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and performance-feedback skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software and business‑intelligence dashboards; disciplined and accurate in data management.
  • Able to communicate complex clinical and commercial information in a clear, structured and compelling manner.
  • Full driving licence and ability to travel frequently across the UK, including overnight stays where required.
