A varied role with real responsibility and the opportunity to become a key part of a successful professional practice. We’re looking for an experienced PA or Senior Administrator to provide trusted support to the Practice Manager and help ensure the smooth running of the firm. This is a varied role covering everything from HR and operational projects to events, billing and general administration. You’ll need to be highly organised, proactive and confident managing competing priorities, with the ability to use your initiative and handle confidential information with discretion.
The Role
- Manage meetings, agendas, minutes and follow-up actions.
- Prepare, format and proofread documents and correspondence.
- Coordinate networking and internal social events.
- Support HR, compliance and operational projects.
- Assist with firms flagship charity events and grant applications.
- Maintain accurate records and confidential information.
- Liaise with clients, colleagues, suppliers and external organisations.
- Assist with purchasing and monthly client billing.
- Provide wider administrative support, including occasional reception cover.
About You
You’ll be highly organised, proactive and detail-focused, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently while being a strong team player. You’ll ideally have previous experience in a PA, EA, Senior Administrator or similar role, with professional services or legal experience advantageous but not essential. You’ll also need good Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams, and a professional and approachable manner.
