We are recruiting for a Business Administrator on behalf of an independent healthcare practice. As Business Administrator you will support the daily operations of the practice, assisting a team of clinicians and ensuring the efficient delivery of administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will undertake a range of tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Managing appointment and operation bookings
  • Overseeing diary management
  • Liaising with referrers, patients, and clinicians
  • Liaising with NHS contacts
  • Developing and managing databases
  • Communicating with insurers regarding payments and treatment authorisations
  • Handling letter processing
  • Managing incoming and outgoing paper and electronic correspondence
  • Responding to incoming calls and emails
  • Monitoring key service delivery databases, such as referrals and assessment records, to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR, confidentiality, and information governance at all times
