We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of goods, while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and efficiency.
The Role
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Operating FLT equipment (Counterbalance licence preferred - training can be provided for the right candidate)
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
- Putting stock away in correct locations
- Completing warehouse documentation and paperwork accurately
- Supporting stock control and carrying out stock adjustments when required
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times
- Working as part of a team to meet operational targets and customer expectations
- Following all health & safety procedures and site rules
About You
- Previous warehouse experience
- A valid FLT Counterbalance licence (preferred, but not essential as training can be provided)
- Good understanding of health & safety in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- A reliable and team-focused approach
