We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, picking and dispatch of goods, while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and efficiency.

The Role

  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Operating FLT equipment (Counterbalance licence preferred - training can be provided for the right candidate)
  • Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
  • Putting stock away in correct locations
  • Completing warehouse documentation and paperwork accurately
  • Supporting stock control and carrying out stock adjustments when required
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times
  • Working as part of a team to meet operational targets and customer expectations
  • Following all health & safety procedures and site rules

About You

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • A valid FLT Counterbalance licence (preferred, but not essential as training can be provided)
  • Good understanding of health & safety in a warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • A reliable and team-focused approach
