The Role
We are looking for an ambitious and proactive Assistant Project Manager to join our clients growing team and take on increasing responsibility across projects nationwide. This is a hands-on, field-based role rather than a purely administrative position. The successful candidate will be expected to develop the confidence and capability to manage day-to-day site activities independently, while working closely with the Project Manager and wider management team. Nationwide travel is an essential part of the role, including regular travel outside London and overnight stays where required. We are looking for someone who is energetic, self-sufficient and comfortable taking ownership. You will need to be able to operate independently, communicate confidently with clients, subcontractors and site teams, identify issues early and escalate matters appropriately. The role offers a clear progression route towards full Project Manager responsibility for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Site Lifecycle Ownership: Take a project from initial survey and mobilisation through installation, snagging, and client handover.
