We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Delivery Driver to join a busy distribution operation based in Brighouse. The role involves multi-drop deliveries to customers across the designated area, delivering beer kegs, cases, bottles and other products. You may be supported by a Drivers Mate on larger deliveries.
Duties include:
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
- Completing multi-drop deliveries on scheduled routes
- Loading and unloading goods, including beer kegs and cases
- Collecting empty kegs, packaging and returnable items
- Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining proof of delivery
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Providing excellent customer service at each delivery
- Complying with drivers' hours, tachograph and health & safety regulations
The ideal candidate will have:
- Valid Category C (Class 2) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous multi-drop delivery or logistics experience
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Experience with manual handling
- Reliable, professional and punctual approach
- Good geographical knowledge
Experience delivering drinks, kegs, FMCG or wholesale products would be advantageous. This is a physically demanding role involving regular manual handling, so applicants must be comfortable with loading and unloading goods.
