Unity Personnel are proud to be partnering with a well-established timber group with over 20 years of industry experience. Specialising in the manufacture of complex timber frames, SIPS, and roof and floor structures, they are now looking to expand their team. We are currently recruiting Warehouse / General Operatives to start immediately.
The Role:
- Working within a busy manufacturing environment
- Using a range of hand tools
- Supporting the Machine Operator as required
- Following all health and safety procedures, including reporting near misses
- Ensuring high-quality products are produced at all times
- Reading and following diagrams to assemble products
- Carrying out manual handling duties
- Working to tight deadlines
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar manufacturing environment
- Confident using hand tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices
- Good work ethic and timekeeping
- Flexible approach to work
Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Friday, 06:30 – 16:30
- Optional overtime available on Saturdays
- £12.71 per hour
