An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Estimator to join my clients growing team. We are looking for a motivated individual with at least 2 years experience within an electrical contracting environment to support the costing and delivery of industrial, commercial, and residential projects.
The ideal candidate will have some familiarity with estimating software and a general working knowledge of Amtech estimating, PDF viewers, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Additional training will be provided where required.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately determining the quantity, type, and cost of materials and fixtures for each project
- Estimating labour requirements to ensure efficient project delivery
- Assessing project profitability to support informed bidding decisions
- Preparing and submitting competitive tenders in line with company guidelines
- Maintaining and updating cost databases to reflect current material and labour rates
- Collaborating with colleagues in a primarily office-based environment
- A supportive and welcoming working environment where you are valued
