Unity Personnel are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Yard Person / Driver’s Mate to join a friendly, family-run business based in Brighouse.
The Role: This is a varied position combining yard duties and driver’s mate responsibilities:
- Working in the yard 2 days per week (09:00 – 17:00)
- Assisting as a driver’s mate 3 days per week, supporting deliveries nationwide (typically 8–10 hour shifts, with flexible start and finish times depending on routes)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all returned stock is checked and stored correctly
- Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe at all times
- Supporting the FLT driver with duties as required
- Unloading vehicles efficiently and safely
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
- Assisting drivers with deliveries to bars, restaurants, and shops across the country (Please note: this role involves heavy manual handling, including moving kegs and palletised goods)
