We are looking for members of a new Finance Team, or even a Treasurer, to take on the financial management of our District. This role is part of the Trustee Board and supports the running of the District by overseeing the finances and obligations associated with them.
As a Trustee, you’ll be part of a dynamic team working together to keep Scouts safe and thriving. From managing money to making sure meeting places are in tip‑top condition, you’ll be part of a team that makes sure everything is set up properly so that young people have the best experience in Scouts.
As a team, you’ll make sure everything’s being done safely and legally, as well as connecting Scouts with your local community. You’ll collaborate, lead, and make a real difference, all while learning new skills and growing in a flexible, supportive environment.
You'll meet as a Trustee Board a handful of times a year; outside of that, it's up to you. Whether you take tasks away from the meetings or simply provide insights while you're there, you'll be a valuable member of the team. Oh, and it’s fine if you’ve not been a Trustee before. We’ll support you, making sure you learn everything you need to know, as you go, in this flexible role.
