We are always delighted to welcome new volunteers to help us run our art workshops, in pop ups around town, both indoors and out. Much of the work is with the public and children, encouraging them to be creative and make use of the art supplies we bring. There is usually a theme to these events. We also welcome volunteers to our scheduled workshops to support the member of staff running them.

During exhibitions, we welcome volunteers to invigilate – effectively "meeting and greeting" visitors and handing out exhibition literature and supporting Curator and Staff, with light housekeeping (ensuring lights, heating, equipment, etc., are all running smoothly). There is always a member of staff present so these are support roles. An interest and enthusiasm for contemporary art is welcomed.

We are a National Portfolio Organisation for Arts Council England and as such we are a charity, building an appreciation for art in the community.
