Youth Options is seeking caring and enthusiastic Volunteer Early Years Practitioners to support the delivery of high-quality childcare and play-based learning for children aged 2–5 years. About the Role
As a Volunteer Early Years Practitioner, you will work closely with qualified Early Years staff to support daily activities and routines. You’ll play an important part in helping children develop confidence, curiosity, and early learning skills through play.
You Will:
- Support children aged 2–5 during play‑based learning sessions
- Assist with activities such as imaginative play, storytelling, singing, music, and arts and crafts
- Help with outdoor exploration and physical play
- Support mark making and early literacy activities
- Assist with basic food preparation and snack times
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
Skills & Experience Needed:
- Experience working with children
- A caring, patient, and supportive approach
