Trustees are volunteers who will use their skills, knowledge and experience to help govern and guide the charity. They work with the Chief Officer and other staff to shape strategy and give direction to our day-to-day operations.

As a trustee we ask you to commit 4 or 5 hours per month towards office visits, formal board meetings, sub-committee work and attending the AGM in October. Sometimes trustees will get involved in additional projects such as supporting fundraising, guiding development strategy or overseeing HR procedures. Within the board, some trustees will take on a specific role such as Chair, Vice Chair or Treasurer.

Becoming a Trustee is a serious commitment but can be extremely rewarding and if you are interested or have any questions, we would love to hear from you.
