Oxfam's Romsey shop is looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to join the Sunday team as a Till / Customer Service Volunteer. You'll be the welcoming face of the shop, helping create a warm and positive experience for customers and donors alike.
This is an ideal role for anyone who enjoys meeting people and wants to support a busy charity shop in their community.
What you'll be doing
- Providing excellent customer service at the till
- Handling transactions with accuracy and confidence
- Welcoming and chatting with customers and donors
- Accepting and processing donations
- Sorting, selecting, and pricing donated items
- Labelling donations clearly to help maximise income
What we're looking for
- Confidence speaking with customers
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Reliability and willingness to learn
- No experience needed - full training and support provided
- Relevant qualifications or training are helpful but not essential
