About You

You’ll be calm, professional and approachable, with a strong sense of responsibility and awareness of safety and security. You’ll be confident maintaining a visible presence across the resort, supporting guests, handling situations professionally and helping create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone onsite.

We are looking for individuals who combine strong people skills and customer service with the confidence and professionalism required to manage challenging situations when needed. You’ll be a hardworking team player who is proactive, reliable and willing to get stuck in across busy operational environments, events and entertainment venues. Reliability, sound judgement, strong communication and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible security presence across the resort to promote safety and deter inappropriate behaviour.
  • Carry out regular patrols, identifying hazards, risks or security concerns and taking appropriate action.
  • Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, emergencies or disturbances in line with procedures.
  • Support crowd management and guest safety during busy periods, events and evenings.
  • Engage positively with guests in a friendly, respectful and professional manner, providing reassurance, guidance and excellent customer service.
  • Support a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment across the resort and entertainment venues.
  • Enforce resort rules fairly and diplomatically while maintaining a calm, controlled approach.
  • Accurately record and report incidents, accidents and near misses using approved systems.
  • Escalate serious concerns promptly to the Duty Manager, Security Manager or emergency services.
  • Remain vigilant to safeguarding concerns and report issues in line with company policy.
  • Support guest and colleague welfare, including responding to medical or wellbeing incidents.
  • Communicate clearly with security colleagues and resort teams using radios and approved channels.
  • Build positive working relationships with operational teams across the resort.
  • Assist with busy operational periods and events with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Follow all Assignment Instructions (AI), SOPs and complete the Daily Occurrence Book (DOB).
  • Use, manage and return security equipment (including radios and body-worn cameras) correctly and in line with training and data protection requirements.

Essential:

  • Valid SIA Licence.
  • Strong awareness of safety, security and risk prevention.
  • Calm, professional and confident communication skills.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and make sound judgements.
  • Reliable, observant and proactive approach.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience within security, hospitality, leisure, nightlife or guest-facing environments.
  • Experience balancing customer service with safety and security responsibilities.
