About You

You’ll be practical, organised and take pride in high standards of cleanliness and presentation. You’ll enjoy working in a hands‑on role, supporting housekeeping, accommodation checks and laundry operations to ensure guests arrive to clean, comfortable and well‑prepared accommodation. You’ll be reliable, safety‑aware and comfortable working independently and as well as part of a wider team, especially during busy changeover periods. Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, accommodation, or hospitality is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean caravans and lodges thoroughly in line with Unity Holidays’ housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and living areas are hygienic, well‑presented and guest‑ready.
  • Carry out detailed accommodation checks following cleaning to confirm standards, inventory and setup.
  • Complete basic remedial cleaning where required and report recurring issues.
  • Carry out safety checks including smoke alarms, CO₂ detectors and fire safety equipment.
  • Support on‑site laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding and storing linen.
  • Ensure clean linen is handled and stored correctly to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Report maintenance issues, damaged items or equipment faults promptly.
  • Follow all health & safety, COSHH, PPE and chemical‑handling procedures at all times.
  • Use cleaning equipment and machinery correctly in line with training.
  • Support colleagues across housekeeping, accommodation and laundry teams during busy periods.
  • Work collaboratively with Maintenance and Guest Experience teams to support smooth operations.

Hours of Work

Different contract types are available for this role however, accommodation operations are busiest on changeover days and therefore availability on Fridays, Mondays (and Saturdays during peak holiday periods) is essential.
