Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible security presence across the resort to promote safety and deter inappropriate behaviour
- Carry out regular patrols, identifying hazards, risks or security concerns and taking appropriate action
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, emergencies or disturbances in line with procedures
- Support crowd management and guest safety during busy periods, events and evenings
- Engage positively with guests in a friendly, respectful and professional manner, providing reassurance, guidance and excellent customer service
- Support a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment across the resort and entertainment venues
- Enforce resort rules fairly and diplomatically while maintaining a calm, controlled approach
- Accurately record and report incidents, accidents and near misses using approved systems
- Escalate serious concerns promptly to the Duty Manager, Security Manager or emergency services
- Remain vigilant to safeguarding concerns and report issues in line with company policy
- Support guest and colleague welfare, including responding to medical or wellbeing incidents
- Communicate clearly with security colleagues and resort teams using radios and approved channels
- Build positive working relationships with operational teams across the resort
- Assist with busy operational periods and events with a proactive, hands‑on approach
- Follow all Assignment Instructions (AI), SOPs and complete the Daily Occurrence Book (DOB)
- Use, manage and return security equipment (including radios and body‑worn cameras) correctly and in line with training and data protection requirements
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends and bank holidays
You will need to be calm, professional and approachable, with a strong sense of responsibility and awareness of safety and security.

You’ll be confident maintaining a visible presence across the resort, supporting guests, handling situations professionally and helping create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone onsite.

You’ll be a hardworking team player who is proactive, reliable and willing to get stuck in across busy operational environments, events and entertainment venues.

Qualifications
Required
- Valid SIA Licence
- Strong awareness of safety, security and risk prevention
- Calm, professional and confident communication skills
- Ability to remain composed under pressure and make sound judgements
- Reliable, observant and proactive approach
- Ability to follow procedures and complete accurate reports
Desirable
- Previous experience within security, hospitality, leisure, nightlife or guest-facing environments
- Experience balancing customer service with safety and security responsibilities
- Experience working within busy entertainment or resort operations
- Knowledge of safeguarding, licensing or health & safety practices
- First Aid qualification
- Safeguarding, Licensing & Compliance experience
