Our Finance Team plays a vital role in supporting the smooth and successful operation of the business, and we are looking for a detail-focused and organised Accounts Assistant to support our purchase ledger and wider finance processes. This role is key in ensuring invoices, reconciliations, payments and financial records are processed accurately, compliantly and efficiently, helping the wider business operate effectively behind the scenes.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience within hospitality, leisure, holiday park or family business environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Take ownership of the shared finance mailbox, ensuring all incoming emails are actioned promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage and process all capital expenditure invoices.
  • Handle vendor queries and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Set up and verify new vendor accounts, including completion of vendor forms.
  • Prepare and assist with supplier payment runs.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of daily takings and cash receipts.
  • Assist with accounts receivable activities, including posting and allocating customer payments.
  • Provide general accounts administration support and undertake ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Maintain accurate filing and electronic records of invoices and financial documents.

Hours of Work

Flexibility will be required in line with the operational needs of the business.
