Our accommodation standards play a vital role in shaping first impressions, and we are looking for a hands‑on and organised Accommodation Team Leader to support the day‑to‑day running of our accommodation and housekeeping operation.

This role will work closely with the Accommodation Manager to ensure our holiday accommodation is cleaned, checked, presented and ready to Unity Holidays’ required standards.

You will support the team on the ground, complete quality checks, help coordinate daily tasks, and provide cover and leadership in the Accommodation Manager’s absence.

About You

  • You’ll be a practical, hands‑on and organised individual with experience in accommodation, housekeeping, hospitality or a similar guest‑focused environment.
  • You’ll take pride in high standards, ensuring accommodation is clean, safe, well‑presented and ready for every guest arrival.
  • You’ll be confident supporting and guiding team members, helping to keep daily operations running smoothly.
  • You’ll have a strong eye for detail and be able to complete quality, safety and inventory checks accurately.
  • You’ll be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, especially during busy changeover periods.
  • You’ll be able to work both independently and as part of a wider team, supporting the Accommodation Manager and wider resort operations.

As this role can be guest and owner facing at times, you’ll also be approachable, professional and represent Unity Holidays positively.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in housekeeping, accommodation, hospitality or a similar operational role
  • High attention to detail and pride in standards
  • Ability to support, motivate and guide team members
  • Good understanding of cleaning standards, presentation requirements and quality checks
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Confidence using reporting processes for defects, damages, maintenance issues or safety concerns
  • Strong awareness of health & safety, COSHH, PPE and safe working practices
  • A team player who demonstrates kindness and collaboration

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Accommodation Manager with the day‑to‑day running of the accommodation and housekeeping operation
  • Provide leadership, guidance and support to Accommodation Team Members during daily operations
  • Act as a point of contact for the team in the Accommodation Manager’s absence
  • Complete detailed quality checks of caravans and accommodation following cleaning
  • Ensure accommodation is fully presented, correctly set up and ready for guest arrival
  • Support departure and arrival preparation, including checks, lost property and turnaround readiness
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, defects, damages or safety concerns promptly
  • Carry out safety checks within accommodation units, including smoke alarms, CO₂ detectors, fire extinguishers, steps and other safety equipment
  • Ensure correct inventory is present, clean and appropriately stored
  • Undertake remedial cleaning where required and support the team during busy periods
  • Help ensure cleaning equipment, chemicals and stock are stored, labelled and maintained correctly
  • Work collaboratively with the Accommodation, Maintenance and Guest Experience teams to ensure smooth turnaround of units
  • Support team training, standards, communication and daily task allocation
  • Interact professionally with Owners and Guests when required
  • Follow all health & safety procedures, COSHH guidance and company policies at all times
  • Promote high standards, positive teamwork and a safe working environment

This role will include working weekends, bank holidays and peak trading periods as required by the needs of the business.
