Overview

We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a Trainee Operations Manager to join Unity Healthcare GP Practice based at the Unity Healthcare Hub. This opening follows a review of the Practice\'s management structure after the launch of the Unity Healthcare Hub. The Hub model aims to enhance patient care and staff well-being by providing dedicated clinical space where patient contact is managed remotely through triage and consultations, with face-to-face appointments continuing at our three existing sites (Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham). A larger management structure is being introduced to meet Unity\'s 2028 vision.

Responsibilities

  • You will assist with the smooth running of the site, including managing the clinical appointment system, ensuring consistent staff cover, and supporting team members with queries.
  • You will be involved with people management at all sites.
  • You will support project management and the implementation of Unity-wide initiatives.
  • You will assist with reporting the quality and performance of the practice site.
  • You will work towards a level 5/6 qualification in management.

Qualifications

  • You will ideally have previous experience working within General Practice, in an administrative or customer-facing role.
  • You will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to check and re-check work to ensure high levels of accuracy.
  • You will thrive in busy working environments.
  • You will be enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Contract

Full time: 37.5 hours per week, with usual working days of Monday - Friday. Hours to be discussed at interview.
