Unity Education Trust are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic and diligent Administration Lead to run their busy school office at Pathfinder Rosebery. If you're a confident and flexible individual with exceptional administration and communication skills then this could be just the role for you. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who can deliver a high-quality service to the school community and meet key deadlines in a fast‑paced and sometimes challenging environment. A caring and supportive nature with the ability to remain calm and cope with the unexpected is essential as many of our pupils have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, as well as pupils classed as missing education and permanently excluded from mainstream schools.

Responsibilities

  • Managing administrative and clerical functions to a high standard, ensuring consistency.
  • Using MIS systems for accurate recording including SIMS and Star Accounts (training will be offered).
  • Proficient when handling confidential material.
  • Responsible for all aspects of exam entry and overseeing all exams on site.
  • Responsible for providing a professional and friendly point of contact to all parents and visitors to the school, ensuring all queries are dealt with effectively and efficiently.
  • Liaising with contractors and suppliers to ensure the provision of services to the school and the maintenance of a safe working environment for all.
  • Understand basic financial terms and procedures.
  • Be caring, enthusiastic, dedicated and well‑organised.
  • Have excellent standards of IT, Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Be able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks.
  • Work well in a team and apply excellent communication (verbal and in writing).
