Are you an experienced and committed SENDCO looking for a new opportunity in a supportive secondary school?
A secondary school in Haringey is looking to appoint a dedicated SENDCO to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis from January 2027.
The start date is negotiable for the right candidate, with the opportunity to start on a temporary basis from October 2026 for candidates who are available immediately.
The Role:
- Full-time, permanent SENDCO position
- January 2027 start, with an earlier start negotiable
- Temporary opportunity available from October for immediate candidates
- Leading and coordinating SEND provision across the school
- Working closely with teachers, senior leaders, parents/carers and external agencies
- Supporting the progress, inclusion and wellbeing of pupils with SEND
- Contributing to the strategic development of the school's SEND provision
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Relevant SENDCO/NASENCO experience or qualification
- Experience working within a secondary school setting
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and provision
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs
