Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery practitioner with a passion for leading a team? Unity Education is seeking a Nursery practitioner to join a supportive and friendly Nursery based in Redbridge, on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join as the nursery is expanding and opportunities for progression will be available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help plan and deliver engaging learning activities, catering to the abilities of the students.
- Develop strong partnerships with parents and other organisations that impact on children’s development.
- Ensure that all staff are supported in their role using supervision and coaching.
- Ensure that staff working with children are suitable and have all safeguarding checks completed.
- Organise parent visits to the settings before a child is registered.
- Create a safe, nurturing and positive environment.
- Maintain smooth daily routines, encouraging positive play, and building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care.
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework.
- Update policies and procedures in line with OFSTED and EYFS framework.
