The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be required to support Key Stage 2 students on a 1:1 basis with Autism, ADHD, and other learning disabilities with their learning, providing materials to cater for specific abilities. You will be required to provide whole classroom support to students, assisting with learning tasks and promoting their inclusion in classroom activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building trusting and positive relationships with students and communicating according to their understanding.
  • Providing feedback to students, parents, and carers about their progress, achievements, and any potential issues under the guidance of teaching staff.
