Unity Doors is a specialist in the design, manufacture and supply of Timber and Composite doorsets. We are recruiting for a Delivery Driver (with a HGV 2 license) to join our logistics team at our head office in Newent, Gloucestershire.

Reporting to: Manufacturing & Engineering Manager

Location: Based at our Head Office in Newent, Gloucestershire

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 45-50 hours per week (Guaranteed 45 hours contract)

We are looking for a Delivery Driver with valuable experience of driving vehicles up to 18 tonne (HGV 2). The set-up of our transport team means that there will be flexibility required in which vehicle is driven, so driving of a 7.5 tonne lorry or a 3.5 tonne van will be on a rotational basis. You will be delivering our doorsets to a variety of customers, so the number of drops will vary (on average between 5-10 per day).

Suitable candidates will require:

  • Current driving license with valid CPC and Tacho card up to HGV 2 (minimum)
  • Be physically fit and used to manual handling of products
  • Used to starting early (3am onwards)
  • Good knowledge of the main motorway networks across England
  • Willing to stay out overnight on occasion
  • Professional, committed and passionate about doing the job to the best of their ability
  • Based out at the Newent Business Park, so candidates must have their own transport.
