The Pastoral SupportOfficer will work as part of a team alongside the Head of Year and the DeputyHead of Year, forming a triad of support. The Pastoral Support Officer willidentify and remove barriers to learning.
The successfulcandidate will have experience of working successfully with young people andtheir families. They will be aware of some of the challenges facing youngpeople yet hold the highest aspirations for Unity College students. They willalso be committed to and use strategies that will ensure that all students aregiven the very best opportunities to be successful in all areas of theirlives. We are looking for a PastoralSupport Officer with experience of working with young people and who are able todevelop and sustain strong relationships and routines. Above all, the PastoralSupport Officer will model and maintain the highest of standards at all times.
