About The Role
We are looking for an outgoing and experienced Healthcare Assistant to work with our animal-loving 13‑year‑old client at her lovely home in North Chailey. This client loves music and musical theatre, as well as trips out and time on her iPad. She has a severe learning disability, with speech and language delay, as well as epilepsy, autism, and some behaviours that may be considered challenging. She requires support with her mobility, personal care, and medication, as well as seizure management and social stimulation.
Applicants should be experienced in supporting non‑verbal clients with complex care needs, including epilepsy and challenging behaviours. Available shifts include Thursday shifts after school and occasional Sundays. You will ideally be able to commit to a minimum of one shift per week, and will have the opportunity to meet and work alongside other clients supported by the company.
Unity Care Solutions provides complex clinical healthcare services to children and vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes. You will work with a small number of our clients to provide dedicated and professional healthcare services. Regular shifts of various lengths are available across the company Monday to Sunday, up to 12 hours in duration. You will be required to commit to regular work to support our clients to access consistent and high‑quality care.

The client would particularly like to meet people who:
- Have at least one year’s experience working in care supporting similar individuals
- Have experience in supporting individuals with similar care needs including epilepsy and non‑verbal communication
- Likes musical theatre and have an outgoing personality
- Holds a UK driving licence
- Are female
To be successful, you will:
- Be able to commit to the minimum availability of shifts
- Hold the right to work in the UK. Please note that we are unable to offer VISA sponsorship.
