The Care Coordinator will be proficient in prioritising and multitasking, all the while making sure the client’s safety and quality of care is not compromised at any time.
This is a client and staff-facing role where you will represent the values of the company each and every day, therefore a friendly and professional disposition is essential. You will be a central support to our care and nursing staff, and will liaise with our clients and their families to make sure that all care is arranged in accordance with their needs.
Duties will include:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and their families, providing support and guidance throughout their care journey.
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of care, including creating rosters; assigning shifts; monitoring of availability; and coverage of staff absence.
- Continuous effective, meaningful and professional communication with care staff about care packages, their requirements, and any other relevant information.
- Prepare and produce weekly payroll through collation and verification of timesheets and expense claims.
- Support care staff, including through performance and absence monitoring processes.

- Support and monitoring of employee and care compliance requirements.
- Attend and participate in regular team meetings, sharing key updates on client activity and assigned actions.
- Provide general administrative support, including answering telephones, filing, photocopying, minute-taking, and anything else that would reasonably fall under this definition.
This role also requires participation in the out of hours on-call roster for emergency operational support.
In return, we provide:
- An achievable performance-related bonus scheme.
- Complementary membership to Benenden Healthcare.
- On Call pay enhancements for weekends and bank holidays.
- Access to our wellness programme, including 24/7 access to an online GP service.
