The role: At Unity Advisory, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to high-net-worth individuals and their businesses. As a Private Client Tax Transactions Senior Manager, you will lead a team focused on providing high-quality tax advisory services to our affluent individual clients during significant transactions. You will manage complex projects and develop strategic relationships with key clients while delivering technically excellent solutions. Our tax team works collaboratively to provide tailored solutions that address the complex financial needs of our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide tax advisory services on significant transactions including business disposals, acquisitions, restructuring, and succession planning
- Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for high-net-worth individuals during major financial events
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on complex transaction matters
- Coordinate with other service lines to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs
- Identify business development opportunities and contribute to practice growth
- Keep abreast of relevant tax legislation and regulatory changes that impact client transactions
- Prepare and review complex tax computations and ensure timely compliance with reporting requirements
- Embed AI-enabled analytics and automation into private client workflows to accelerate insight and reduce manual effort
- Partner with Digital & Transformation on systems automation, data engineering, and KPI dashboards to give clients real-time visibility
- Integrate with Finance Operations to strengthen reporting, close, and tax controls for transaction readiness
- Draw on managed services for scalable compliance delivery across returns, filings, and statutory accounts
- Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and development opportunities
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) and/or Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification
- Minimum 7-8 years of relevant private client tax experience, including significant transaction advisory work
- Commercial awareness and ability to identify client needs and opportunities
- Proven experience managing complex tax projects for high-net-worth individuals
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation affecting private clients
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
