Unity Advisory is a pure-play, experience-led CFO advisory firm providing integrated finance, commercial, tax and deals support. We are free from audit conflicts and AI-enabled by design, combining deep technical expertise with automation, analytics and AI built into the delivery of every engagement. We are building an alternative to traditional advisory firms, focused on clarity over complexity, outcomes over hours, and practical advice delivered at pace for CFOs making high-consequence decisions.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Transfer Pricing Manager to join our fast-growing Tax team, with a focus on supporting CFOs of high-growth international businesses and private equity-backed companies. This role requires strong expertise in UK and global transfer pricing principles and documentation, particularly in the context of cross-border operating models, financing arrangements, and evolving compliance expectations. You will be client-centric and delivery-focused, with the ability to manage multiple engagements and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including CFOs, finance leaders and tax directors. You’ll work closely with senior colleagues to deliver practical transfer pricing solutions that support international expansion, transaction structuring and tax-efficient financing arrangements, bringing clarity and pace to complex problems. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded adviser to develop quickly in a lean, agile environment and work on high-impact projects with ambitious clients.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and deliver transfer pricing engagements end-to-end, supporting CFOs and tax leaders of high-growth businesses with international expansion and operating model changes.
- Support private equity-backed transactions, including transfer pricing considerations linked to financing, leverage and cross-border structuring.
- Prepare and review core transfer pricing deliverables (e.g., documentation, policy design, benchmarking, intercompany pricing frameworks), ensuring they are high quality and practical.
- Help clients navigate OECD guidance, BEPS developments and local compliance expectations, translating requirements into clear actions.
- Contribute to pre-sale structuring and IPO readiness workstreams, helping ensure transfer pricing policies are investor-ready and defendable.
- Work collaboratively across Unity service lines (Finance, Deals, Commercial, Tax) to deliver joined-up solutions and spot adjacent opportunities for clients.
- Use (and help improve) AI-enabled tools and automation to speed up analysis, enhance insight, and improve consistency in deliverables.
- Coach and develop junior team members, supporting their growth through on-the-job mentoring and quality feedback.
- Stay current on HMRC policy developments and global transfer pricing trends, bringing relevant insights into client conversations and delivery.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience in UK and international transfer pricing, including practical delivery of documentation and policy work.
- Exposure to advising high-growth and/or private equity-backed businesses (or a strong interest in this client segment), including transaction and cross-border considerations.
- Confidence managing multiple workstreams, priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate clearly with senior client teams.
- A pragmatic, commercial mindset, focused on solutions, not just technical detail.
- A collaborative approach and interest in working across disciplines to deliver outcomes at pace.
- Experience coaching junior colleagues and contributing to a high-performing team culture.
What We Offer
- A highly autonomous role within a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Exposure to market-leading clients and high-profile transactions.
- The opportunity to develop quickly within a fast-growing practice, with clear progression pathways.
- A platform to work in an AI-enabled delivery model, encouraged to use modern tools and approaches.
- Competitive remuneration and benefits.
Work Environment
A truly hybrid and flexible working environment. You’ll be working on cutting-edge projects and encouraged to deploy the latest analytical tools and approaches as part of our AI-driven advisory model.
