Role Summary
The Deals Tax Senior Manager will play a critical role in providing tax advisory services related to mergers, acquisitions, and other complex transactions. This position requires a deep understanding of tax regulations and the ability to develop innovative tax solutions that align with clients\’ strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in deal structuring, due diligence, and post-deal integration, ensuring that clients achieve optimal tax outcomes.
Responsibilities

• Lead and manage tax advisory projects related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other complex transactions.
• Conduct thorough tax due diligence to identify potential tax risks and opportunities.
• Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for deals, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to provide comprehensive tax advice.
• Prepare and review detailed tax reports and presentations for clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Liaise with tax authorities and external advisors to resolve tax issues and obtain necessary approvals.
• Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and industry trends to provide proactive advice to clients.
• Mentor and train junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification in tax (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience in tax advisory, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong knowledge of UK and international tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record of managing complex tax projects and delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
