The Careers Lead will support the leadership and development of the Trust’s Getting Ready programme across all academies within the Trust. The post holder will work closely with academy based ‘Getting Ready’ Leads to support the delivery of high‑quality, consistent and impactful provision across all settings. The role will also lead the development, implementation and quality assurance of a coherent Trust-wide approach to careers education, employability and transition planning. The post holder will ensure that pupils in mainstream schools, alternative provision, pupil referral units and specialist settings are equipped with the knowledge, skills and aspirations required to make successful transitions into further education, employment and adulthood.
The ideal candidate will have or be able to demonstrate a commitment to undertake professional development and will be:

- An experienced practitioner with a proven track record of delivering CEIAG across the 11-19 age range
- Skilled communicator and relationship builder
